Content

January to May - OVERALL

GS - Knowledge Part

Knowledge Gain Process

January to March - Study subjects in Full Length

  • From January to March just study the subjects from prelims specific orientation in full length. This phase should concentrate on building a strong conceptual understanding of the topics rather than rushing for quick revision. Avoid crash courses at this stage as they are designed for revision and not for gaining a deep understanding of subjects.

April – Crash Course

  • Now, since you have thoroughly prepared the subjects from prelims specific orientation in full length, now its time to revise the whole course with a teacher in speed. It will make your concepts more strong because it is not possible to keep all the concepts clear with just one time study with a teacher even after multiple self-revisions, because when you were studying them in class for the first time, there might be some concepts which you might have lost immediately but doing a crash course with a teacher can strengthen them also.

May – Express Course – Last Minute Final Revision

  • Just revise every subject with a teacher in just 15 days for final consolidation of everything.

Knowledge Retention Process

Self Revision of the CLasses

  • Along with each and every class you did, it is your duty to revise everything by your own on same day on daily basis.
  • From Monday to Saturday, you should revise the day’s class thoroughly.
  • On Sunday, you should revise everything you have studied till date.

Gs - Smart Questions Solving technique Part

Technique Gain Process

January to March

  • Just learn the technique along with your classes as the learning technique without knowledge of the subjects is a total waste.

Technique Retention Process

January to March

  • From Monday to Saturday, the timing of self-revision should also include some time for Smart Questions Solving Technique on daily basis. It will be done by practicing some questions related to the day’s class only.
  • On Sunday, the questions practice should be related to all the previous classes.
  • Remember, the questions practice should not just be focused on practicing the questions but should be purely focused on mastering the Smart Questions Solving Technique.

April

  • Just focus on mastering the technique by solving questions across all subjects and all topics, as you have already learnt the technique till March.
  • Also try to solve some full-length test series but again the focus should not be on just knowledge, but on applying the techniques and trying to make the questions correct.

May (1st to 15th of May)

  • Just revise the technique notes and the steps involved in it. It will ensure the retention and applicability of the technique in the exam.

  • From May 16th to 23rd the daily study time has been deliberately reduced to 12 hours to prepare body for the final day. The sleep and mind relaxation are the most important part of performance during the exam, so it is important to turn body as per the 8 hours night sleep cycle and prepare the mind and senses to get fully activated from 9:00 am itself.
  • For this, it is important to sleep at 10 pm sharp and wakeup at 6 am sharp and start practicing GS previous year question paper at 9 am sharp (not at 9:30am) and CSAT previous year question paper at 2:15 pm (not 2:30 pm).
  • For our body to adapt to the changes fully, it needs at least 6-7 days’ time.

NOTE: if any aspirant wants more than 8 hours sleep, then the aspirant should sleep even more early, but the wake-up time should be fixed at 6 am.
